ABOUT ME

Tigers in India & elsewhere are battling for existence..., gradually losing large tracts of forest cover & critical corridors which are a contentious issue worldwide.

As I am associated with an Instituition working for the upliftment & welfare of Tribal Childrens from remote villages inside the rich & dense bamboo dominated forests of TADOBA ANDHARI TIGER RESERVE.., I took upon myself an added responsibility outside my regular work profile to educate the Tribal children about the balance in nature & the role each living organism plays in the ecosystem be it Plants, Trees, Insects, Butterflies, Reptiles, Birds & Mammal's ( Herbivorous or Carnivorous ). By educating & involving them in community based awareness programme's I feel that their intelligence, innocence & dedictaion can reap rich dividends in the conservation efforts.

My thrust is mainly in the direction of educating, imparting & sharing information in whatever form to inculcate a sense of belonging & responsibility towards our environs.

The elegance, grace & beauty of the big cats....., Leopard & the Tiger works wonders in the conservation efforts. Being a local resident of Chandrapur it helps me greatly in Photographing & documenting the habitat, animal behaviour at TATR as the distance is very minimal from where I live. Due to my work related issue's I have to frequently visit villages inside the forests which gives me more oppurtunities to come face to face with the beauty & grace of a wonderful wonderful animal called the TIGER.

This blog is to share the amount of knowledge I have acquired in recent years with the locals & like minded people l helping me in my efforts & endeavour for preserving & spreading awareness of our rich wildlife heritage.

The blog is to bring people closer to the beautiful inhabitants of TADOBA ANDHARI TIGER RESERVE like the striking beauty of the Paradise Flycatcher, the elegance of the Spotted Deer, the mischievious & playfull nature of the Hanuman Langur, the mesmerizing dance of the Peacock, the sheer silence & magnificence of the Leopard, & the mighty presence of the King of the Jungle the TIGER itself and many more beautiful animals & birds.

Advise & suggestions in any form are always solicited.

Regards & Best wishes !
